Crystal World by Victor Pelevin: Performance-Phantasmagoria

When we say Russian theatre we think of Chekhov, Tchaikovsky and Stanislavsky. We see in our imagination the golden monumental interiors of the Bolshoi Theatre or the dark wooden stage at the MXT Theatre where actors deliver strong dramatic dialogues that raise eternal questions.

The Roaring 20's Christmas Soirée - 9 December 2013

We're hosting a flapper-fabulous night in aid of Cancer Research UK and want to see you all there! This Great Gatsby-themed event will be a night of decadence not to be missed - think 1920s where the hemlines were shorter and gin flows like the diamonds round your neck.

The venue is the Avalon in Soho, which promises a night "made with passion and served with style!"

We are putting this event on in aid of Cancer Research UK

Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to beating cancer through research. We are fighting cancer on all fronts, finding new ways to prevent, diagnose and treat it to save more lives. We are entirely funded by the public. With your help, we can ensure more people beat cancer.

If you're unable to make the event but still want to support this worthy cause, please donate to:
