Authentic Thai Dining at Thai Square

Thai Square is a group of restaurants with outposts across the UK and London offering authentic Thai cuisine in stylish surroundings. With an array of awards and accolades to its name, Thai Square boasts over 1,000 dishes and is renowned as the favoured choice for Thai dining across the country.
The flagship branch is in the heart of London’s Trafalgar Square, the restaurant is situated over two floors and is designed with a fine dining style in mind. Walls adorned with Ancient Thai Artefacts and live music are just some of the touches that make a visit to Thai Square a memorable experience.
Seating around two hundred guests, the restaurant also has a nightclub downstairs making it a popular haunt for locals and tourists at weekends. The interior is modern and extravagant whilst keeping to a traditional Thai theme.

Indian Fine Dining at Lotus London

Lotus is an Indian restaurant with a unique fine dining concept in the heart of London’s West End which opened in July of last year. A stone’s throw away from the buzzing area of Covent Garden and the theatres, Lotus brings an authentic slice of vibrant India through its innovative cuisine and selection of cocktails.

The seasonally changing menu has been curated by chef patron and restaurant manager, Bhakar Banerjee. Bringing a wealth of experience to Lotus, Bhakar has worked at the likes of the Le Meridian and The Taj hotel groups over the past twenty years. Using spices imported from India and locally sourced meat, he has created a menu inspired by the different regions of the country combining traditional Indian cooking techniques with new and creative flavours.

All Day Italian Dining at Chucs

Chucs is a classic Italian Restaurant offering all-day dining in the heart of London's Mayfair on Dover Street. The decor is tastefully done in the traditional style that the Italians do so very well and has a nautical feel to it reflecting the swimwear line that the Chucs fashion label is known for.

Executive chef Alessandro Verdenelli has put together a sumptuous menu that caters for everyone. The menu features a mouthwatering selection of antipasti and pizza dishes ideal for sharing and signature dishes that include freshly made pasta and salads.

I'd recommend the Scallopina chicken served with rocket and the sweetest cherry tomatoes, it's light yet satisfying on the taste buds. Do allow room for desert as again one is spoilt for choice by indulgent sweet treats such as tiramisu and zabaglione.

Darbaar By Abdul Yaseen

Darbaar is the first solo project from the legendary Abdul Yaseen and offers modern Indian cuisine in the heart of the City.

Situated a stone’s throw away from the financial district, Darbaar spans over 5,500 square feet. Has an extensive restaurant and bar seating up to 220, private dining room and a chef’s table seating up to 10.

Its contemporary styling gives it a slightly cosmopolitan feel and the restaurant really has a vibrant ambience to it day through to night. Taking inspiration from the Ancient Palaces of India, the interior is elegant and opulent, deep shades of midnight blue and tones of gold throughout give a sense of sophistication to Darbaar.

Having been at The Cinnamon Club for over ten years, Abdul is already world renowned for his take on creating high-end Indian cuisine with a modern edge. Throughout the menu, Abdul has reinvented classic Indian dishes by adding Western flavours and an element of fine dining.

Sackville's Of London

Sackville’s is the latest high-end eatery to open in the heart of Mayfair, set over two floors, the bar and grill serves a menu centred around truffles and the finest beef.

Taking inspiration from a New York styled brasserie, the interior is modern and refined, neutral tones of green and teal banquettes give Sackville’s a timeless sense of elegance.

The main restaurant is situated on the ground floor and seats up to 42 for all day dining whilst downstairs, an intimate lounge bar can accommodate up to 16 guests seated with further standing space for drinks.

The menu has been created by Executive Chef Wayne Dixon and showcases burgers, steaks and meat. The first concept of its kind, Sackville’s offers diners a unique dining experience through it’s inventive choice of classic dishes made into luxury cuisine with the addition of truffles. Think truffled mac & cheese and truffled mash potato to name a few.

High End Mexican Dining at Peyote

Peyote is a unique dining concept offering contemporary Mexican cuisine with an element of fine dining. Located in prime Mayfair, the restaurant and bar are named after a cactus found over in the Chihuahuan desert and is the brainchild of celebrity restaurateur Tarun Mahrotri.

The first of its kind, Peyote has already established itself on London’s dining scene since it’s opening in 2013 and brings a refined take on the flavours of Mexico. Chic stylings and textured walls give a cosmopolitan ambience to the restaurant and lounge. The interior is an eclectic splash of colour and design aspects such as beaded skulls along the staircase add to the trendy vibe of Peyote.

Situated on two floors, the spacious venue features a lounge bar on the ground floor, restaurant seating up to 120 and a taco counter for a prime view of the chefs at work. For private dining, the chefs table situated in its own room seats up to 10 for an intimate affair.

South East Asian Dining at Spice Market

Spice Market is a contemporary restaurant located within the W Hotel on London’s Leicester Square offering modern South-East Asian cuisine. Sister to the New York outpost, Spice Market is set over two floors with a cocktail lounge on the ground floor and open plan dining floor upstairs. The restaurant is accessed via a separate entrance rather than via the hotel lobby and is frequented by locals and passing tourists as well as guests at the hotel.

Keeping with an Asian theme, the décor is somewhat oriental and shades of gold throughout add character the interior. The centrepiece is the rear wall that showcases all of the spices used throughout the menu and the variety of colours gives Spice Market a vivid and uplifting vibe.

Foodwise, the menu curated by Executive Chef Peter Lloyd is a journey into the exotic culinary tastes of South East Asia. Taking inspiration from street food, Peter has created a selection of authentic dishes with a sharing concept in mind.

Japanese Ramen at MUGA

Muga is one of London's hidden gems, discreetly tucked away on a side street a stone's throw away from Theatreland, the all day dining concept serves traditional Japanese Ramen with a contemporary twist.

Simplicity is the key to Muga's success, the food is kept authentic and true to the flavours of Japan whilst it has been adapted to British tastes with the introduction of special dishes and flavours. The menu is a celebration of old fashioned Ramen and they have a choice of five different Ramen on offer, each inspired by local speciality from the Western and Eastern regions of Japan.

The ambience of Muga is low key yet chic, it's unpretentious stylings harmonise the food well and flashes of colour throughout make the space cosy and inviting. Images of the food in preparation adorn the walls and modern lightings give the restaurant a cool vibe.

Chelsea's Beaufort House

Beaufort House is a bar, brasserie and private members club in the heart of Chelsea, the space over four floors is set against the trendy backdrop of King’s Road.

With a bustling heritage and history, Beaufort House has for long been a standing part of Chelsea’s charm. Once home to the great Sir Thomas More, the building has since been transformed to its current glory as a hub for the West London set. Attracting an array of artists, media and TV personalities, the club at Beaufort House is the pinnacle of the social scene this side of town.

Foodwise, Beaufort House serves a feast of locally sourced produce, the brasserie is open to the public and members alike and is a contemporary take on British cuisine. Starters range from pan-fried scallops with chorizo to a delicate salmon tartare. For mains, I’d recommend confit duck burger, the duck is well cooked giving a succulent taste and it’s served with blue cheese and caramelised onions giving a great fusion of flavour.

Crab Tavern Opens In Broadgate Circle

Crab Tavern sits proudly against the stunning backdrop of the Broadgate Circle development within the heart of London’s city. As the name suggests, the all day restaurant serves up all things crab, if it can be done, they do it here, think crab on waffle or crab hash browns and you soon get the point.

The brainchild of Russian restaurateur Igor Krayushkin, Crab Tavern is the latest addition to his portfolio of hotspots in Russia, Dubai and now London. Open for breakfast right through to dinner, the concept is new and brings a much welcomed alternative to the now done idea of eateries specialising only in Lobster.
