Chelsea's Beaufort House

Beaufort House is a bar, brasserie and private members club in the heart of Chelsea, the space over four floors is set against the trendy backdrop of King’s Road.

With a bustling heritage and history, Beaufort House has for long been a standing part of Chelsea’s charm. Once home to the great Sir Thomas More, the building has since been transformed to its current glory as a hub for the West London set. Attracting an array of artists, media and TV personalities, the club at Beaufort House is the pinnacle of the social scene this side of town.

Foodwise, Beaufort House serves a feast of locally sourced produce, the brasserie is open to the public and members alike and is a contemporary take on British cuisine. Starters range from pan-fried scallops with chorizo to a delicate salmon tartare. For mains, I’d recommend confit duck burger, the duck is well cooked giving a succulent taste and it’s served with blue cheese and caramelised onions giving a great fusion of flavour.

Alongside the great food, the bar is also renowned for it’s divine cocktails, expert mixologists create bespoke drinks to complement the stylish surroundings and food. For a real treat, I normally start the night with one of their champagne cocktails, the BH Champagne punch is a particular favourite amongst the regulars.

Guests and members can also benefit from the extensive events programme ran at the house, regular comedy evenings, and themed parties take place on a weekly basis ensuring the place is kept fresh and lively.

Open daily for breakfast right through to dinner, Beaufort House is open 8am-12.30am Monday to Wednesday, until 1.30am Thursday and Friday and from 9am till late at weekends.
