Lima Floral Does Brunch

Lima Floral sits proudly on the trendy side of Covent Garden, situated on the stylish Garrick Street, the Peruvian restaurant and bar now offers a weekend brunch offering. In keeping with it's contemporary take on Peruvian food, the two options focus on native dishes and ingredients adding a twist to a traditional breakfast.

For an earlier meal, the Andean breakfast served until 12.30pm features breakfast classics such as cereal and quinoa porridge to start and a suckling pig brioche bun for mains to name a few.

Those looking for a slightly more extensive menu should go for the long lunch option, running throughout the day it's perfect as a weekend treat and is a great cure for the night before. Designed with a sharing concept in mind, the starters are bought out to share, small plates of appetising ceviches and the tuna tiradito Lima is so well known for are amongst the selection.

For mains, a choice or beef, chicken, hake or wild mushrooms really gives a choice and if I'm dining with friends, we normally order all four and share. The beef lomo is particularly tasty, it's quite tender and is flavoured with yellow chilli which gives a subtle yet distinctive taste.

A host of sides are also included in the long lunch menu making it great value and of course dessert, be sure to save room for the fabulous alfajores with dulce de leche, they're simply divine.

Alongside the brunch menus, Lima has prepared a menu of smoothies, emolientes and tiger's milk shots. The smoothies complement the menu well and encourage a healthy lifestyle.

Served on Saturdays and Sundays from 10.30am to 3.30pm, the Andean breakfast is priced at £18 per person with the long lunch priced at £30. Lima also runs a promotion of four glasses of prosecco for £10 during the brunch.
